Our New Year's Plans with a Five Year Old

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, it has been a little weird not posting anything for the last week or so but it has been nice just focusing on family fun! I am so excited to get back to our normal routine after New Year's Day.

Celebrating New Year's with Kids, activities for a New Year's countdown from Joy Focused Learning

I am a procrastinator so I haven't actually set up any of our New Year's Eve activities yet but I thought I should share what I have planned to help those of you trying to plan your festivities!  While browsing Pinterest, I came across a ton of cute count down activities.  You can see my New Year's Eve Pinterest Board here.  I am leaning toward using balloons for my countdown.

I love the idea of doing a time capsule, that could be fun to do every year until the kids are grown and then pull them out to look through. How fun!
