Tea Party Tuesday #6

Welcome to our sixth Tea Party Tuesday!  This week we had a pretty simple menu.  I just had a hard time thinking of anything cute to make. We had:


  • Egg rounds topped with avocado
  • Carrot sticks with ranch dip
  • Waffles & jam
  • Peppermint tea with honey

C loved the eggs and waffles, she wasn't very impressed with my lazy veggie this week!  I need to find some more fun ways to serve veggies.  The eggs are just cooked like an omelet and then cut with a circle cutter.  I actually just used a mason jar lid.  I topped them with a few avocado slices.  C and I both love eggs with avocado!

I wasn't feeling very creative today so for our veggie we just had carrot sticks with ranch dip.  The dip recipe is from 100 Days of Real Food.   Carrots aren't C's favorite so she wasn't very impressed.  She did eat a handful though!

C was excited to have waffles with jam, she loves homemade waffles.  I made them last night and reheated them on our griddle before serving.  I accidentally burnt them a bit.  C didn't mind.

    Well, I must say that our lunches never look that pretty! We're having plain old pizza today!

      Our lunches don't always look this pretty! We try to have a special tea party lunch each Tuesday! :) Pizza sounds great to me.

    Ooh, I would never have put avocado with egg. I'm going to try it next time. I love the idea of tea party tuesday :)
