This book is wonderful for young readers who love animals as they can learn about amazing creatures and build reading and comprehension skills at the same time!
We recently received this book via BookLook Bloggers. C was thrilled when it came in the mail! My little girl loves and animals so this book is right up her alley. C reads at a 2nd grade reading level and she was able to read Curious Creatures without any trouble. I really appreciated that the book is written from a creation perspective. C loves to read non-fiction and it is so hard to find good, interesting books about animals written from a creation point of view! We both enjoyed the pictures and the facts found in the book. C especially enjoyed the bonus facts! There is an excellent variety of animals represented throughout the book.
Would I recommend Curious Creatures?
Yes! My whole family is enjoying this book very much. It is without a doubt one of the more engaging children's books on animals that is written from a creation point of view. If you have an animal lover in your house I definitely recommend this book!
