Good morning! I don't know about you but I am still lagging a bit after taking the week of Thanksgiving off. We aren't having school today either because we are going on a field trip to the zoo. :) For now though, it is time to check out some awesome Kindle books!
There are a lot of free or cheap Kindle books out there, but a lot of them don't look that interesting or well made to me. I have weeded through the pile to find some great picks for you! Here are my requirements:
- I have to want it for myself or C
- It has to look like it was made decently well
- It has to be a good deal, usually $4.00 or less but occasionally I find a book that looks like it is worth the higher price tag

My Kindle book picks - Cheap, Free or too Good to pass up
1. Joy in the Journey - Encouragement for Homeschooling Moms - $4.99
This beautiful book from Lori at Be Not Weary is a wonderful resource for homeschooling moms. There are weekly devotionals for every week of the school year that give you hope and motivation for your homeschooling journey. This is one that I have (through a gift) and love!
2. Desperate: Hope for the Mom Who Needs to Breathe - $1.99
This books looks wonderful. This books is for moms who are struggling with how they pictured motherhood and the every day reality. We put so much pressure on ourselves to be the perfect mother and have the perfect kids. We seem to forget that that isn't possible.
3. Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland (Penguin Young Readers, L4) - FREE
This early reader version of Alice in Wonderland is free!
4.Circle of Friends - 25 Pie, Crisp & Cobbler Recipes - FREE
I have been wanting to make a cobbler lately. I can't wait to try some of these recipes!
5.How to Draw Sea World (how to draw comics and cartoon characters) $ .99
C has been wanting some "how to draw..." books, she would love this one that teaches you how to draw sea creatures!
6. Sarah, Plain and Tall - $1.99
I loved this book as a kid!
7. Pete the Cat: The Wheels on the Bus - $2.99
Every Pete the Cat book I have read is so fun! I haven't read this one yet, but I think C will love it!
