It was so nice to get back have Tea Party Tuesday again! Something every Tuesday for the last few weeks. C really loved our menu this week.
Here's how everything looked:
C loved the Mini Apple Sandwiches. We have had apple sandwiches for lunch many times but this was the first time I made them bite sized! They are very simple to make.
- Slice apples lengthwise
- Use vegetable cutter to cut into bite sized pieces
- Spread with peanut butter
- Top with another piece
The vegetable flowers were a favorite from a previous tea party. C requested we have them again, so we did! I made a simple cream cheese dip to go with the veggies. These vegetable flowers are super easy to make.
- Celery stick & leaf stems
- Carrots cut with a vegetable cutter for the small flowers
- Spinach petals with tomato center for large flower
The Chocolate Drizzled Cake Bites are made from a blondie recipe cut into bite sized pieces (also using the vegetable cutter) and drizzled with melted chocolate mixed with a little coconut oil for thinning. I popped them in the freezer for a minute to harden the chocolate. C loved these!
C's favorite tea so far is Peppermint. I bought a chamomile lemon tea a few weeks ago but she didn't enjoy it very much.
Do you have any weekly traditions in your family? I would love to hear about them in the comments below.
Thanks so much for visiting Joy Focused Learning!
