Good morning! We are having a cold, snowy morning so far! I hope you all are staying warm.
There are a lot of free or cheap Kindle books out there, but a lot of them don't look that interesting or well made to me. I have weeded through the pile to find some great picks for you! Here are my requirements:
- I have to want it for myself or C
- It has to look like it was made decently well
- It has to be a good deal, usually $4.00 or less but occasionally I find a book that looks like it is worth the higher price tag
Here are my picks for today.
All prices were accurate at the time of this posting, please double check prices before purchasing. This post contains affiliate links, you can read my disclosure policy here.
My Kindle Book Picks - Cheap, Free or too Good to Pass Up
1. A Year with C. S. Lewis - $3.79
C. S. Lewis is on of my favorite authors. I was so excited to see this for only $3.79!
2. Rosetta, Rosetta, Sit By Me! - $1.00
This book is a beautiful way to follow up your studies on Martin Luther King Jr. This story chronicles one girls experience with segregation and is a true story.
3. Fit for a Lifetime: The Essential Guide to Better Living, Exercise, and Nutrition. - FREE
How many of you made a resolution to be healthier in 2014? I did but I haven't been doing so great so far. I am hoping this book will help me get back on track!
4. Breville Health Full Life: Juice Recipes for the Juice Fountain® Plus - FREE
I love starting the day with a fresh fruit/veggie juice. If you have a compatible device, these Breville cookbooks also have videos and audio!
5. Organic Homemade Cleaning Recipes: Your Guide to Safe, Eco-Friendly, and Money-Saving Recipes - FREE
Our family makes some of our cleaning supplies, with this book we may start to make even more!
6. Weelicious Lunches (Enhanced Edition): Think Outside the Lunch Box with More Than 160 Happier Meals - $14.44
I know $14.44 is pricey for this list. I usually try to have even my "too good to pass up" picks under $10 but this book is awesome! Last night I made a few recipes out of it and my whole family loved them! My favorite feature of this book is that Catherine McCord thinks outside of traditional "kid food" and offers her kids all sorts of "grown up food". Calamari anyone? I don't know if I'm brave enough for that one.
There are also a ton of twists on classic kid food like pizza and PB&J. I will be referencing this book a lot!
This book also has audio/video components for those of you that have compatible devices!
When C looked over at my computer and saw I was recommending this book she said, "Cool! I really like that book. It gives you a lot of fun ideas!"

DeleteExcellent suggestions! Thank you! I went with the Breville juice recipes and I am considering Rosetta... but I may want it in book form.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I think Rosetta would be nice to have in paper too. :)
