I have really enjoyed having a weekly Kindle Picks feature on the blog! I have found some great books in the process. There are a lot of free or cheap Kindle books out there, but a lot of them don't look that interesting or well made to me. I have weeded through the pile to find some great picks for you! Here are my requirements: - I have to want it for myself or C
- It has to look like it was made decently well
- It has to be a good deal, usually $4.00 or less but occasionally I find a book that looks like it is worth the higher price tag
Here are my picks for today.

1. The Gerson Therapy by Charlotte Gerson - $8.54
Have you ever heard of The Gerson Therapy? I have watched a few documentaries about it, it is fascinating! It was discovered over 60 years ago by Dr. Max Gerson. This therapy isn't widely accepted among doctors in the U.S. However, I think if I was ever diagnosed with a serious illness I would try The Gerson Therapy first before filling my body with chemo, radiation and other conventional methods that have serious side effects. I highly recommend watching the documentaries (They are on Netflix - just search for Gerson) or reading this book:

3. A Snake Book For Kids! by Maura Kempa - FREE
This is right up C's alley!

4. Salad of the Week by Lisa Brown - FREE
I am excited about this one! We try to eat a lot of whole foods but sometimes I get bored of the same old salad, C will love it too! This year she has learned to love salad and she especially enjoys having them served up in a new way. Her favorite right now is whole romaine leaves topped with various toppings and a drizzle of dressing on the top - just having it served up differently makes a huge difference to her.

5. Homemade Natural Cleaners - $1.99
I don't think we have a store bought cleaner in our house that we use regularly! I love making my own cleaners and knowing everything I put in them is safe for my family. While, I am happy with our standard recipes, I love looking through and finding new ones to try.

6. How to Grow Organic Vegetables by: Kelly T Hudson - FREE
I have been wanting to have a little garden for a couple of years now, but I do not have a green thumb at all! I am always afraid I'll put money into planting a garden that will fail and I'll have wasted money. Hopefully this book will give me the confidence to try!
Thank you so much for visiting Joy Focused Learning! What are some of your favorite Kindle books?
